When lumber is cut from logs for custom cabinetry, it is typically cut in one of three ways: quarter sawn, rift sawn or plain sawn. Each type of lumber is dependent on how the log is oriented and cut at the sawmill. The result is a particular orientation of the growth rings on the end grain of the board and is what defines the type of lumber. Below are some things to consider before you buy a fireclay sink!
The space between the tiles is called a “grout joint” and the main reason grout joints exist are to accommodate for slight sizing differences from tile to tile that are created during the manufacturing process. The grout joint enables the installer to adjust the tile to compensate for these sizing differences and allow for a straight grout line. Less variation in the tile size allows for a smaller grout joint. Due to the technology incorporated in the manufacturing of tile today, there is very little variation in size and therefore grout joint widths are generally much smaller than they have been in the past. Typically, we recommend grout joints being no less than 1/8 of an inch however some precision cut tiles and stone can withstand a smaller grout joint.

All I could say is wow.
For years I had wanted to remodel my kitchen and bathrooms, but would get nervous if all the time and money spent would wow me.
So I would put it off. I went to stop by Grandior just to see what can be offered. Daniel, the owner operator took so much time not to just help me plan but give me ideas and a lot of guidance. He helped me understand issues about the kitchen and bathrooms that I hadn’t even considered before. He’s amazing with technology and has a keen eye to mentally visualize how things will turn out.
The other key thing is he can tell you if something is low quality and not to be used.
Once it was all finished, my friends and family would come over and go Gaga over the kitchen. It made my house just look and feel like a new home. I love it. I am thrilled at the results. He was very intent to give us the master bath and bedroom that we had imagined. This project ran head on with the Covid-19 pandemic, so there were problems. I am extremely satisfied with our new kitchen. Owner Daniel provided ideas, high quality products and hands on supervision until the project was completed. Daniel recommended the contractor, Joe Suess, and my husband and I were very happy with the quality of his work. We trusted him enough to leave town for 10 days during the completion of the project which only took 3 weeks. We had the entire kitchen gutted and replaced in a short period of time.
I visited Grandior for almost 9 months prior to signing the contract. Daniel was never a pushy salesperson and worked with me during that time so that I was comfortable with my selections. He ordered samples so that I know exactly what I was purchasing. The products were not run of the mill items but each piece (cabinets, faucet, sink, etc.) were unique and special. Daniel has an extensive background and was able to also recommend paint colors using his interior decorating skills.
